On this International Women’s day I would like to thank Shailja Patel for talking about the work of poet Alice Fulton,who has devised a very interesting theory and practice of fractal poetics,
and has talked about “inconvenient knowledge” which I think are steps in the right direction to start giving poetry the complex texture it need to keep pace with the times.
